LVMH HD Generation
Moet Hennessy • Louis Vuitton approached SM to create a rich microsite for their high-end makeup line which underlined their value in HD photo & video shoots. One unique aspect to this project was the extremely tight turn-around time for development (approximately 3 days from start to finish), which required working closely with our designer to create a rich experience while leveraging existing code to deliver features beyond our brief development cycle. In this case that meant a heavy reliance on the Sekati API AS3 Framework; more specifically the lightweight & flexible RotationPlane 3D class in conjunction with BitmapTransform & CoreBitmapData which allowed us to take one source image to splice & dice for some elegant 3D transitions whilst not needing to create multiple asset sizes or write custom complex math operations.
